Learn to weave at the McCarl Coverlet Gallery!
Each 2.5 hour class will provide instruction on pre-warped floor looms to weave a finished cotton dish towel. Beginners are advised to start with Introduction to Weaving and Color to build skills for the next two workshops. All materials are included. Attend all 3 workshops for $10 off the total.
Introduction to Weaving and Color
July 7th
Learn the parts of the loom, how to weave, and how to design color sequences at the loom. Explore the differences between modern and historical looms.

The workshop runs from 9:30 to 12:00, but the gallery will remain open until 4:00 p.m. Workshop participants are welcome to stay beyond 12:00 if they need more time to finish weaving their towel.
