Visitor Information

During the academic year, we are open 10am-4pm, Wednesday through Friday.
Our hours of operation vary during the summer, as our small staff may be traveling for research. If you plan to visit in June, July, or August, please contact us first to ensure that the gallery will be open.
If you would like to schedule a visit outside of our normal hours of operation, please contact us! We love to share coverlets and will do our best to accommodate your visit, pending staff availability.

The McCarl Gallery is free and open to the public. We welcome donations, but there is no charge for admission.
Tickets for special programs and workshops vary in price; see the events calendar for details.

The McCarl Gallery can accommodate groups of up to 50 visitors at a time. Please notify us in advance if you plan to bring a large group of ten or more.

The McCarl Gallery is located on the campus of Saint Vincent College, just off of U.S. Route 30. The College entrance is located on Fraser Purchase Road, Latrobe, PA 15650.
After you pass the college entrance booth, keep left on Monastery Road. Parking Lot A will be on your left. The Fred Rogers Center is the large building next to the parking lot, and the McCarl Gallery is right inside the entrance on the ground floor.

The coverlet gallery is located within the Fred Rogers Center on the campus of Saint Vincent College. At the gate at the College entrance, visitors to the gallery may obtain a free parking pass to Parking Lot A.

The McCarl Gallery is located on the ground floor of the Fred Rogers Center. The building is fully wheelchair accessible.
